The B.A. Business Administration degree programme offers a competence-oriented recognition of knowledge and skills acquired in and outside of higher education as well as prior academic achievements. This ensures that students do not have to study content in which they have already acquired equivalent competences.
The following competences can be recognised:
- Advanced training
- Professional skills
- Achievements from degree programmes at other colleges and universities
Depending on your previous education, the crediting of skills can shorten the duration of your studies by several semesters. Make a non-binding enquiry to contact the IAW team at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences and find out more about credit transfer.
Business administration opens up hundreds of career and job opportunities for students - fields of employment are incredibly diverse. Depending on what you have chosen to focus on in your career, these may include working as a marketing, media or project manager, management consultant, HR officer or self-employed / start-up entrepreneur, to name just a few of the possible fields.
You can find the accreditation status or the accreditation certificate on the website for quality management.
FAQs
The standard period of study is 11 semesters, whereby we can usually recognise the first two semesters (work experience, completed further training, etc...). If you are already working in a business-related context, the two practical semesters can also be recognised. This means that the study period is then only 7 semesters including the Bachelor's thesis.
