Martin Hajek, Deputy Managing Director of ratioplan GmbH in Dollnstein, will speak on the topic of "Multi-talented heat pumps - an insight into modern heating networks for a sustainable heating market". He will show how heat pumps and efficient networks can contribute to the heating transition and present specific projects from the region. On Wednesday, 3 December, at 6:30 pm, Dominic Haidacher, Head of Sales and Business Development at BAUER Resources GmbH in Schrobenhausen, will give a presentation entitled "Geothermal energy - underground treasure - an important component of the energy transition." He will explain how geothermal energy can be utilised economically and the opportunities offered by near-surface geothermal energy, particularly in combination with specialist foundation engineering methods. The lectures are aimed at students, school pupils, teachers, environmental groups, political decision-makers, and interested members of the public. The series is organised by Professor Sabine Bschorer, Professor of Energy Engineering and Head of the Energy Systems and Renewable Energies (in German) degree programme at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
