Participating research institutes

AImotion Bavaria was founded as the AI Mobility Hub within the “Hightech Agenda Bayern”. The institute aims to use AI tools to develop innovations for designing sustainable mobility ecosystems and to research and establish new AI methods for mobility applications.

CARISSMA Institute of Electric, Connected and Secure Mobility (C-ECOS) focuses on research in V2X communication, accident analysis, IT security, and electromobility, aiming to advance connected, safe, and sustainable mobility systems.
 

CARISSMA Institute of Automated Driving (C-IAD) focuses its research on the development, testing, and validation of automated driving functions. In the context of improving overall road safety with the “Vision Zero” as goal, the focus is on accident prevention, i.e., active vehicle safety and its influencing factors: human - vehicle - environment.
